Uploading Media Files

These are the steps required to upload media files to the web site for use in Joomla.

Goto URL

Log in with your username & password

Access the Media Manager

Select the 'Media Manager' from the 'Site' Menu

Upload

Select the Folder from the list of Directories where you want to place the new images

Choose media file

Click on the button 'Browse Files'
You need to select the media file from your local hard drive.

Click on 'Start Upload'

This may take sometime, you can leave the browser open and let it continue to upload.
